![]() Adventures of Dick and Jane, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Three Little Pigs, and The Little Engine That Could. My favorite school day became Friday because in the afternoon we could go to the Community Library. There I lost myself in wonderful stories: The Wind in the Willows; the Little House books; Black Beauty; and the exciting Nancy Drew mysteries. Each story invited me in and I was there when the Indians stormed the fort; I traveled across the plains with a wagon train, and swung on a vine through the jungle with Tarzan. |

I read my way through high school and later, college, and I never stopped. I watched Atlanta burn through the eyes of Scarlet O’Hara in Gone With the Wind, and I danced my first waltz with Prince Andre in War and Peace. I loved every minute. The combination of history and story in historical fiction brings the past to life for me. I hope it will do the same for you. Come back with me to a long ago time, or take a magical journey to the imaginary village of Seed Hollow, the home of Adirondack Mouse. Come into my stories and enjoy! I am a member of the Society of
Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the Adirondack Center for Writing
and the Wish Upon a Word Writers Group. (see Writer’s Group photo below) Please click on Read My Blog to learn more about my writing and upcoming events and appearances.
